Product Description
The new Little Wise Set of Anxiety Affirmation Cards offers a toolkit for helping children, young people and individuals of all ages engage with anxiety in a nurturing, empowering and helpful way that can bring about positive change.
Inside you’ll find:
- A booklet that provides the framework and looks at what anxiety is, offers a useful way to visualise anxiety, and shares how our mindset and thinking patterns can influence the way we view and approach anxious feelings; and
- 120 affirmation cards that bring the insights in the booklet to life. Collectively, these cards offer an informative and practical approach for helping individuals engage with their mindset, thinking patterns and anxious feelings in a transformative and uplifting way.
This resource has been designed so that it’s suitable for all ages from 5 – 105. There’s so much that we can all gain from using and implementing all that this set offers.
As well as being used in the home, this toolkit also works well in a range of different settings such as schools and counselling services.
I have created this set building on the evidence base and my research over the years around CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), reframing, growth mindset and general mental health and wellbeing. It has also been created with a lot of love and thought and I’m so happy it’s now available for people of all ages to use.
Reviews
“The Little Wise Toys reframing, anger, anxiety and grief toolkits are a really wonderful resource… I recommend these to parents, carers and those working with young people who are navigating big emotions… The toolkits guide exactly the kinds of reframing and emotion management that is needed to support young people in appropriate emotional development and to make the best behavioural choices.”

“As someone who has always suffered from a lot of anxiety and seeing how it now also affects my daughter, I am always looking for additional tools to help us both. These handy little affirmation cards are pocket sized reminders that can help to manage anxiety and its debilitating effects. I think one of the real transformative statements within the pack is looking at anxiety through a different lens; too many times anxiety is dismissed with ‘you’ll be fine!’ or ‘you don’t have to worry about that!’ whereas the affirming statement ‘When I’m anxious, it means my body is trying to protect me’ turns everything around: my feelings are validated! My anxiety isn’t something to be pushed away or ignored, I need to listen to it and work out what it is I really need! I love this approach, and it runs through all the ‘Little Wise Toys’ resources: How can we turn this negative situation around and, while we’re at it, let’s do something useful with it?”
